Additional Notes Regarding Botox

Botox for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes:

Some treatments, such as the use of Botox for the masseter (jaw clenching) or temporal regions (headaches), are not only for aesthetic purposes, but are also medical and therapeutic.

Area customisation:

Pricing is scaled based on the number of areas treated, with each area targeted for specific wrinkles or concerns. For example, treating forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, and around the mouth counts as 3 areas.

Primary uses of Botox injections:

  • Anti-wrinkle treatment:

Botox is commonly used to reduce wrinkles, particularly around the forehead, eyes (crow's feet) and mouth.

  • Non-surgical eyebrow lift:

Botox can help lift sagging eyebrows and rejuvenate the upper part of the face.

  • Medical applications:

Besides aesthetics, Botox is also used to treat conditions such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), jaw clenching (bruxism) and even migraines.

  • Facial paralysis:

Botox may be used to improve asymmetry or movement in cases of facial nerve paralysis.
